On my '93 Senta XE I have a problem with my overhead lamp (the one that comes on when the doors open). It works and all, but it has a tendency to vibrate loose and then I have to pry the cover off and move it around to much dismay until it decides to stay on. So any good solutions?

Take the cover off. Remove the bulb, unscrew and drop the light down out of the headliner. Check out the connections, make sure all of the wires are not damaged, make repairs if needed. Take some slilicone, and put a good size bead on the back of the light, then put it back in the headliner. Screw it back into place. Replace bulb, then lense. Might make your car smell for a lil while but should fix you problem. Dont touch if again for at least 5 hours, to let the silicone set.
