Aligning the clutch disc help

Okay i have aligned a clutch before but im doing a clutch job in a 94 sentra XE. Everything is in order but i cant keep the alignment tool in the crank flange to keep the disc in place. The tool won't bottom out and keep the disc in place. Does anybody have any experience aligning the disc, if so any pointers?

First of all what kind of clutch tool do you have. I don't recommend universal ones. Use the plastic type. They are made specially for each application. As for the tool not bottoming out. Maybe the pilot bushing got damaged. before you put on the pressure plate and disk, try inserting the tool into the crank flange.
