TACH PROBLEMS

I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD A PROBLEM WITH THERE TACH. MINE IS WAY WAY OFF. NOW THAT I GET IT TO IDLE THE TACH SAYS 2200 RPMS. ANY IDEAS

hmmmm doesn't seem to make any difference!!!!!



all the programs i use here have to have caps on i didn't think it was a big deal sorry if i offended anyone by using the caps.

I assume you installed an aftermarket tach... There's usually a switch to select 4, 6, or 8 cylinders. Make sure it's set to 4.

if its the oem one and the car seems to idle correctly, it may be that u need to have it re-calibrated...

thanks i didn't know they could do that i'll check into it and see if its cost effective. might just get an after market one. thanks for your help
