I was just wondering what you guys thought. I have a 1994 Sentra LE with 163000 miles on it. It is also an automatic which i hate. It wasn't really my choice because my dad just kinda bought the car for me when i got my licence. It is in pretty good shape, almost no rust and the engine seems to be running pretty strong. I want to do a auto to manual tranny swap, but is it really woth it?
This is from a stupid lady that backed into me a month after i got the car. I pounded it dent out as well as i could and as you can see it still looks like crap. This is one of the reasons i dont want to do the tranny swap, just becuase it kinda looks bad. I also just don't know if it's worth it. What do you guys think?
in ur situation, id say its best to sell the car and buy a manual one....seeing as ur car is stock. for other people with some money invested in the car both cosmetically and performance, its just probably better to do the swap than it is trying to sell a modded car or trying to remove everything they had to return it to stock, buying a new car and dealing with all the aftermarket parts u had(if u bought a different car)
Yes actually i did get insuance money from it. I paid $2000 for the car and then a month later got $1950 back from the insurance company. So Essentially i only paid 50 dollars for the car even know it looks like shit!
I have an automatic and the car is awesome it probably downshifts better than I'd do it, it's got a nice little kick to it, it reads your foot perfectly. If you floor the gas pedal it'll do anything to give you back your horses.
Thats what i was thinking of doing. I would never buy a honda, i LOVE nissans. I should just start lookin for a 1994 se-r or just wait to get my moms 97 maxima when shes gets a new one.

Now I want someone to run into my car so I can get insurance money
