I took the door pannel off, how do i get the locks off?

my sister gave me a 94 sentra for free, and she said the locks dont work, the thing is, the locks on the driver side arent the locks that came with the car apparently, the key doesnt even go in. so im trying got take the locks off to change with the other side, which does work. any ideas how to get it out?

their should be a clip on the inside of the door, or you have to twist the lock. if that doesnt work id get a good book on your sentra. you can get one at your local parts store

It's kinda difficult to do that.... it's easy to remove but not that easy to install the new one since there's not too much space to work and adjust the pieces that opens the door, why dont you take the car to some store and ask them to put security locks instead of the normal that cames with the car? it actually opens almost with any key with some trick....
