I recently installed some big-ass 11" Brembo rotors with Wilwood 4-piston calipers and my stock SE-R wheels(B13) don't fit over them! I'm having a REAL hard time finding some B14 SE-R wheels so can anyone suggest a different OEM wheel that will fit over the brakes AND on a B13 SE-R? They need to be real cheap, but I don't care what kinda car they're for. Nissan, Honda, Toyota, VW...whatever. I just need them to fit. I'm assuming they need to be either 15" or 16" and at least as wide as the B14 SE-R wheels WITH tires.
why do they have to be OEM? i heard (not sure what size rotors but something i was reading) they had to have a minimum of 17" wheel. good luck finding that size on a 4 lug wheel. why not get some used aftermarket ones or some cheap internet ones? my buddy got his 17" enkeis and tires for only $800 online. same setup as me only better tires and for 400 less than what i payed at les shwabs a year prior.
Well, the brakes cost me $800 so I don't really have much at all to spend. Not even close to another $800 for the wheels. I'm only looking at about $300. That's why I'm trying to find some OEM wheels so they'll be really cheap. and I know that the B14 SE-R wheels will fit, so I just assumed that most any 15-16" wheels would fit. ARGH!
Will steel replacements for the B14 SE-R wheels be the exact same size as the alloys? Maybe I can just get those for now.
Oh yeah, maybe I should. Durrhh, I don't know why I didn't think of that.
