Snapped Tie Rod

I have a '93 NX2000, and I snapped the passenger-side tie rod. Do I need to go to Nissan for this or is someplace like AutoZone just as good? Looked it up on AZ's website and it's like $30 for the inner and $18 for the outer. Sound good? Thanks.

Yep, most parts stores have em much cheaper than Nissan.

Where did it snap?

Snapped on the thread...

The inner snapped on the end where the outer tie rod threads/screws onto it. Now I've got about an inch and a half of "thread" sticking out of my outer tie rod, and the inner just snapped completely. I went ahead and went up there and bought 'em both for around $55. I asked for the "special tool," the inner tie rod tool, and they said the one they had won't fit. So one of the guys there said that I could come by his shop and borrow one, after putting down a deposit. It shouldn't be too difficult of a task to do once I get the tool and get out there. I tried using a monkey wrench. Well, I guess I don't have to tell ya'll how that went. Thanks for the reply. I was just skeptical of the AutoZone quality vs. the Nissan OEM quality, but the part I bought comes with a Lifetime Warranty. I'll let ya'll know how it goes.
