I'm surprised there is not a sticky, on things to do and parts to replace... I searched titles for engine swap, and jdm swap, surprisingly... no real info.
Anyway, I saw a few posts on sr20 forum about pulling the axels, and unbolting the strut??? this really need to be done to swap just the engine? Why?
How are the water pumps on these engines? They go often? Is it worth getting a POS auto parts store pump to replace the Nissan pump that's on it? I need to do this as cheap as I can. The car is just a stock driver.I have done many engine swaps, but not a FWD. though I have done a few FWD trannys.
I'm Just an Information Hoer, I want to know every thing I need to or might come across BEFORE I get into it.
