My sisters b/f just got a job at a Auto Body shop. He was saying he could already hook me up with a paint job. Im wondering how or what should I consider doing. I was thinking about putting in the hood scoop. Should I take out the stupid rubber all along the body and fill in. What good colors would suit this car. Anything but Yellow and Black, I got issues with them colors. I was even thinking redoing it in the original color white or 300zx pearl white. Thinking MR2 Red, silver. Dont want anything to to wild. Any ideas. How do they paint the engine bay without getting all them wires anyways? I havent really gotten into the details with him yet.

as far as how they paint the engine bay, if they're a good shop, they'll pull the engine, and then put it back. if not, they detach everything from the engine, wrap it in paper (butchers paper, from what i've seen), and then spray.. oh, and is Ferrari Yellow to extreme? :-D lol

take it to a shop that will pull the engine for you...it will show if you dont...

if your gettin hooked up dont worry about sprayin the engine bay and just get the exterior.Beggers cant be choosers.Also I would go with a nice lookin white and get some white kosei K1s.A guy over on the SR forums has one and looks pretty goddamn sick.(I used to dislike white cars)

Yea you guys are right, if it was just a shell it would be cool to do a different color maybe i'll stick with shades of white. Still have some time to debate, if there are any paint experts let me know what you think.

Holy crap. I thought I was the only NX around with those Helium rims. Nice Web site. My friend also have those rims with Azenis on his '91 SE-R.
personally, I don't like white...but Pearl White looks good with the right wheels.

White isnt one of my top choices either. But man is it better than black. Im never getting black again unless I have a nice garage to put it in.
