hey all, i have problems with my clutch cable...sometiems it sticks all the way down then smacks up, now its become really hard to engage the gear. i push to the floor..and then have to ease the pedal up really slow. I've purchased the new cable. but i can't find any information on how to. looks like there is a bunch of brackets behind the pedal cluster and i'm not sure exactly what i have to do. everyone i ask has no clue. including a friend who works as a tech at the local nissan dealer..haha..can anyone give me some info on this, some quick tips or stuff to be careful about?
patience my friend patience, its not that bad the only bad part is hooking the lever to the cable under the dash prepare to be on your back upside down, other wise its cake.
Don't worry about it. My Clutch cable did the same thing. It only took me about 20 minutes to replace it. just follow how the old one routes and it should be really easy.

Mine was a PITA because the previous owner put the car car alarm behind that plastic piece right next to the clutch. So there was hardly any room to work with... It took forever to get that the clutch pedal bolt in. I had to move a bunch of crap to get my large hand up in there to thread it in. I couldn't do it with an extention.
Its funny how simple projects become the biggest pain in the ass...
BTW. it took me 2 days because I stripped the boltnut.
I say if u dont' wanna bother with it, then take the car to clutchmart or something and ask them to do it.
But if you have some free time, it's basically a lever thing that the cable hooks on to. And same with the front.
i could do a clutch cable in a VW in like 5 mins eyes closed..but we dont have all those brackets and whatnot in the way. I'm not worried about doing..just dont want any suprises ya know.
