Paint

Can anyone tell me if there is a marking on our cars with the paint code/color on it? I looked in the driver's door area for a sticker with the paint code, but there was none. I need to find out in order to color match my kit. Thanks fellow B13 owners.

There should be one on the door jam by the drivers side door, unless it was removed for some reason. You could probably call the dealer, and give him the make/year/color of your car, and they can tell you the code. When I go out later, I will check to see exactly where mine is, and get back to you.

I just came back from lunch, and it should be on the drivers side door jam. Look under color - should be a code like JL8 (for dark gray, my color).

Thank you 92 for taking the time to help me out. I'm in a bit of a pickle, because without the code the two paints may not match up. I just got back from classes and I'll check as soon as I get some food in my belly. Thanks again.
