Here's the deal, i want to swap in the blubird in the fall. But i have to wait all through the summer of racing in order to get that engine swapped in to have a good sounding exhaust? I hope not, because although i have the ga16 i would like an exhaust that'll fit my engine, and the bluebird turbo sr20, so what would i do? Just get the sr20 exhaust and loss top end, or what? What's going to happen, and what does the sr20 engine use for an exhaust?

Invest in a stromung, they sound great and may have an application for 2.5 or 3" piping. You could try a Greddy titanium for weight savings.

hey guys I think hes asking what he should do about an exhaust right now.Because right now he has a 1.6 but in the fall hes swapping for a DET.The DET is going to need 3" piping and there is no way you are going to get away with that on a NA 1.6.Just get a cheap ass Ebay muffler and when the time comes get your turbo exhaust.Easy?

Just screw it and wait until you do the swap... It will be a while until you get that motor in... you'll need the extra $$$ for the little shit that will pop up that might hold you back to get your motor in quicker. You will just be throwing money out the window...

I agree. No need in doing any mods right now that will becone useless in a few months. The swap does have alot of extra things that will pop up that you might not have taken into consideration. Wait until you are ready to do your thing and take it from there.
