I have a 91 sentra E and here is what it is doing. When you try to start it or even after you get the car started the car is flooding itself with gasoline. When you try to rev it up it will try to die because there is so much fuel in the cylinders and if you get it to rev up there is alot of black smoke from the exhaust. I changed the Fuel pressure regulator and nothing helped. Also when I pull the plugs out they are BLACK (all 4 of them) and dripping with gas, what can cause this condition?

Any check engine light??? If so pull the codes and see where that leads.... A coolant temp sensor is one of several things tha could cause this. A faulty CTS will read the temp at like -35 degrees and give enough fuel for a -35 start. This is the choke on Fuel injected cars. But if its actually 35 and not -35degrees You get ALOT more fuel than you need, ANd thus Flood the engine. But like I said this is one of several things it could be....

I forgot to mention there is no check engine light on or anything. This thing will foul the plugs as soon as you start it and then It almost doesnt start again for like 30 minutes or so.

just a thought, but your injectors may be stuck at wide open. also, check your maf...is it regrounded? the cts thing makes sense, but that would trip a code. if you can't figure anything out i may be able to come up and take a look see. hope this helps. later.
