Ok i have a 4 door 93 Nissan sentra xe with 27,000 miles it like new its automatic(unfortunately)... this car was given to me by my parents and i love this car. But to tell you the truth ive seen the 93 se-r's around my way and its pushin me closer and closer to sell this car to buy one of those. My friend it tellin me not to do that and just hook the car up engine and looks . What do you guys think? Also any idea what i can do the car cause it stock or should i just sell it for the 93 SE-r?
Sell it for the SE-R. You take away 90% of the headaches that way (swapping engine + tranny, wiring it all up, and all the other BS). Tell your friend to shoo away. If he doesn't know how about how big of a bitch it is to swap engines, and do all what you'd have to do to make your car exactly like an SE-R, he shouldn't be advising you.

Kind of depends what you intend to use it for. My sentra has over 140k, and runs fine as a driver, and with 27k, yours will last you a long time. But if you want something faster, sell it and get the SER. Not much sense spending a lot of time and $ on a slow 1.6 to make it fast.
