Intake

Ok I just got a cone filter for my car. Bought the special adapter at autozone. The question is, most of the systems seem to have like an extension tube or something. Is it necissary and if so why?

sounds like he is. the tube isn't necessary but it helps with air flow because it's smooth, unlike the stock air tube that has ripples.

That's what they are talking about. Also called a short ram. Well I have a place racing cold air intake I want to get rid of. If you want it let me know.
