Short Shifter Info??

Whoops... posted this in the wrong place... oh well... i'm sure a mod will be kind enough to move this to a more general section

Ok... I was doing a search to see what people were doing about short shifters. Many people said B&M, others pacesetter, others ebay and even other "cut it".

I was thinking of cutting it. Cheap and it will work. There were so many arguments on this topic I decided to make a "paint" of it Because it's just to hard to explain in words. The only advantage I see to buying a real short shifter is a)adjustability (which is way cool), b)torque transfer is either kept the same or increased depending on length of shifter (by this I mean the power transferred through the shift lever to the gear box) Other than that... the cut shifter does reduce shift throw. I know it's been covered but I made a "paint" so here you go
