i found a another pair of front seats that actually match my front ones. I ripped all the mechanical stuff from the bottom of the seats, then i placed them in the car and then they fitted perfectly. but how will i go about bolting them down? They look great, and the only problem i have is worrying about the sides of the car where the black is showing up. but other than that i'm going to fiberglass that to make it look cool. but how do i bolt these seats down?

i tryed to do the rear bucket conversion. seems easy btu its very hard....once you take everythign off the bottom you have to build another support system. that takes work...cause when you get someone like me in the seat...6'2'' your head hits the back window or the top of the car. you have to build asub frame that does not lift the seat n e higher...it has to sit as low as possibel...i say take the bottoms out and make a mesh like frame for it out of like some 8 gauge steal, something solid. then foam it in and tie the mesh bottom to the reclineing part of teh chair...then some bracket from the sides going to the bottom.....THEN....you gotta weild nut into teh floor...cause your gas tank is down there....make it so you can put a bolt through the side brackest into the nuts to hold the seat...and your done
