tranny fluid cooler?

Hello,
I have a '92 XE, with the automatic transmission ...
I have a steep hill that I have to drive every day for work, and so I'm wondering about a transmission fluid cooler.
I helped a buddy install one on his Taurus, but it was set up from the factory to use one.
Is it possible to put one in our Sentra's? Have you done it, or seen it done? I haven't gotten into the bay yet to see where I could mount it ... and I don't know about how I would splice into the fluid lines if it wasn't meant for a cooler in the first place ......
anyway, just wondering.

There is already one in our cars... hooks to the bottom portion of the radiator, take those lines out and put a LARGE cooler in and forget about putting it back in series with the radiator...

Get some long tranny lines and mount it off to the side, by a stack plate design that isn't the cheap aluminum crap. Make sure no air can get around it either.

Why shouldn't air get around it? Wouldn't that keep it cooler?
And can I buy transmission fluid lines at a normal auto parts store?
Thanks for your help.

You need the air to go through the exchanger, not leak around it. James meant that you need to build a shroud for your new cooler.
