Need help with thermostat in 92 sentra

hey is the thermostat in the usual place (on the top hose from radiator to engine) on a sentra up top?? I bought one from advanced auto parts and it wont fit the guy gave me aonther gasket (with 3 holes) and said it may be on bittom ive lokked bi\ut not found why they have the wrong part listed for my car?? and i see no place to pull off that has 3 bolts where it could go?

You probaly got the wrong parts. What year is your sentra??? what engine???

its a 1992 and its a 1.6 L i think dont know the model #

FYI your engine type is GA16DE

Whats the production date. There is a month/year on the drivers door jam.

Is it american made or JApan and it is 2dr or 4dr

ill check and get back to ya tommorow
thanks ill probably goto dealer tommorow adn get the thermostat so i get the right one but ill look at the door for the info
