Major issues with my a/c

I have a problem with my A/c compressor not kicking on also the fans are not kicking on when I hit the a/c switch.

I had problems with my fans intially kicking on a while back.

So I unplugged the compressor(since there wasn't any coolant anyway) and whenever it would overheat I would just turn on the fans by hitting the a/c swith in my car.

So after a month ,I buy a universal coolant switch for my car from autozone ,one of those that you buy when you are converting from a clutch style to a electric fan, and I install that by tapping into the radiator fan harness. Was this bad?

Then All of a sudden the A/C fans wouldn't kick on anymore when I hit the button inside the car.

And when I plugged the compressor up a while of go its not kicking on either.
The compressor and the fans were both running properly a month ago.

Now niether one of them work.

What I have done so far ,check power to the compressor, Nothing when I hit the switch.
A/c relay is good and the fuse inside the car is good.

Help me out its hot out there!?!?

Thanx
andy

Were'nt you having trouble with cooling a this thing a little while ago? As for the no power to your fans, you have to get it before youy go any farther with trouble shooting this thing. Power is #1.

Once you have located power to this switch you have run, you need to make sure that the switch has full power, you can run a power line from the relay, but as well you will not have complete 12V power until you run the other end to the relay. unless you cutt out the relay all together and just run 12V to the fans via toggle switch. Anymore info, hit me up.

do you have power before you hit the switch?
if so check your ground locations

for the compressor......if the freon level is too low the compressor wont kick on keeping itself from overheating, check your level
on freon or a/c clutch
