17'' wheels rubbing in rear @ stock height????

I put some 17's on my b13 and when im cornering or doing e-brake turns, i get this rubbing from some where? is it like the camber of the rear wheels or something? i dont see and rub marks on it anywhere????? i also wanted to lower my car with the eibach 1.5 1.6rear kit. but i was wondering if the rubbing was ognna get worst? only reason i went with the 17 is cause i got em dirt cheap. but i was planing on going with 16's and some good tires, and im almost sure im not gonna scrap and rub.

Is it gonna rub when driving normal when i lower it???

1. It's rubbing on your fender lip. When I did my 17's, my struts were blown all to hell and I kept rubbing there.

2. It could be on the bottom of your spring pocket. That's where mine mainly rubs now. I cut on my fender lip and it doesn't rub anymore. So I would reccomend cutting your lip, or at least bending it up into the fender more before you drop it.

Good luck.

I have 17"s on mine too and I came up with the same issues. I had to bend up my fender lips and file down the lower part of the struts. I also put on spaces on the rear which helped out.

I once had some 17'' Racingharts with 205/45/17's on them. The problem was the tire not the rim size. The best combo for your b13 is a 15 inch rim and a 195/50R/15. It fits PERFECT!

15" huh? I am going to get some rims for my b13 but I think I will go 17's, 15's just arent big enough to look all that great. A lot of people are saying that 16's are great size for the sentra but I dont know.....

17's look the best. 15's are pretty lame but to each his own, i guess.

for 17's, you should be running 205/40/17. for the rear fenders, you could roll them with a baseball bat. i had to do this with both my sentras. use an old baseball bat and place it between the tire and fender. then all you do is roll the bat along the tire while pushing down on the bat so the lip will bend up. do it a few times to make sure the lip is pushed upward.

Jing, that idea is brilliant. A wooden bat won't scratch, and you don't even have to remove the tires! I run 185/60/14's and it rubs with people in the back, but I put up with it because the car handles so much better with the wider tread. The original 13" steelies were like bicycle tires, so I got 14" Prime coated silver rims, since I didn't want to look too ghetto. Thanks for the tip!
