buying a sentra..worth the $$$?

I know of a person who is trying to get rid of their Nissan Sentra XE. THe car has 130,000 miles on it. It looks like it is in pretty good condition. I was told that they drove the car a long distance(1100 miles) and it died on them when they got to their destination. It now is sitting in the parking lot. I looked at the car, and it still starts and idles fine. However the engine emits an ear piecing noise if you leave it running for while. I was told that the waterpump needs to be replaced. After inspection, I believe that is the source of the noise. The car also needs a new windshield as well. The owner wants $400 for the car. I was wondering if this was worth the time to try and fix up this car, or should I just pass on it?

If all it needs is a water pump, HELL YA TAKE IT!!!!

oopps...
fix it up man....

get some intake, new clutch, headers, and hell you can go with a Turbo Kit.. swap in an SR20DE or DET and even go cosmetic.. with rims, a drop, body kit, new paint, tint ur windows...

That is an awesome price but I bet if you tell them a sob story that it will need a new engine you could lower the price.
