does the steering wheel move when the wheel shakes back and forth. two things off the top of my head are... bad tie rod end and get yer wheels balanced. sound like a possibility?

Yep, tie rod is exactly what popped into my head at first thats the only thing i think it could be. I just replaced my lower left ball joint and the left tie rod and it's a lot tighter now.

did you by chance damage the CV joint when you pulled everything apart??? Is the Wheel Bearing Nut tight??? Then again it is possible a wheel weight came loose in the process. Did you have it aligned after the Ball joint and Tie rod were on???. I know the Ball joint shouldnt make a difference but if it was aligned with a bad one at an earlier time........WELL ya know.
