Manual tranny fill plug/GL4 or GL5 question

what type of manual tranny fluid does the sentras use? GL4 or GL5, I did drain the oil from the 1/2 square plug but did not notice a filler plug, so how do you refill the tranny back up?

I have done Maxima manual tranny drops, Honda accord and my moms chevy astro van. This past Monday I dropped the tranny on my 94 sentra and it was not bad at all. The only pain in the rear bolt was the one thats on the bracket that push and pulls on the clutch cable and popping the passenger axle off. I did slam the pressure pliers on my forehead pretty hard trying to snap off the drivers side axle with a crow bar.

Took the flywheel to NAPA to have it resurfaced for $44.00 and they found the ring gear loose so I had to replace that for $60. I am replacing that stock clutch with a ACT that I bought for $220.00 from cox import.

The project wont be done till possibly friday night. Ill try and post some pics and possibly some tips for you Nissan folks.

The owners manual and FSM both specify which fluid to use.

I know my 90 sentra uses gl4, so I would think all of the other sentras are the same, but don't take my word as fact.

75W-90 GL4. DO NOT use GL5. It attacks yellow metals, as in your syncros.

I got done saturday night, now the car needs some boots and possibly a suspension upgrade and I am done modding this car. The ACT clutch grabs nicely.
