Ringmaster304

My friend has a 94 sentra with the 1.6l and it is a automatic.The problem is he can put it in drive but it will not come out of 1st gear. I even tried going through the gears but it still will not come out of 1st. if anyone has any suggestions it would be helpful. Thanks.

Whats the mileage of the car, and when was the last time the fluid changed? (have you checked the fluid level ?)

re-build or replace....mine only goes into 1st , 2nd, and reverse...replacing when tax check comes in
