i think they quit making the shifters. but im pretty sure that pacesetter has the same design. and its pretty cheap (like $60-$70 at nopi.com). i would buy this over B&M just for the price

SMC no longer makes the short shifter for our cars, you will have to track down a used one if you want one. I hear the Pacesetter is a copy of the SMC (...gasp....Pacesetter copying others....never! ) Personally I would recommend the B&M, not cheap but very high quality.

Pacesetter's good: I got one, and it comes with a great package including all of the bushings, finishline teflon grease, and an OEM nissan dust boot - very high quality presentation from pacesetter. The instructions are good and descriptive, but are text only - no pix. But, they are clear enough to get the job done without any surprises. Don't know about any of their other products though - their headers seem to be pretty maligned for fit, although many people on the forum seem to have them.
