IM wondering if anyone can help, last fall i was going to swap motors in my car but it fell through, so i had all the wiring and hoses unhooked from the motor but i labeled all hoses and wires when i took them off and wrote everything down. I went through my list and hooked everything back up and i cant get it to start. So i did all the normal checks and stuff and i have good spark, its getting fuel, timing is on and everything. I though it was flooded so i poulled the pump fuse and cranked it over and cleared it out and it still doesnt start.
Anyone has some suggestions?

Grounding! Its always grounding with me. I have a 66 CJ5 that I've been rebuilding and same thing happened when we tried to put it back together.... We even had the ground hooked up, but of course the paint of the frame prevented a good ground. We eventually busted out the dremmel and everything was okay after that.

I would start with that. Next thing I would check and make sure the batteries not dead, and if it isnt, then just get juice to the starter to see if that flips on... if that does... well, im out of ideas after that.

so it stil doesnt start. I hve checked timing, spark, firing order, fuel pressure, compression, fuses, and relays. i dont kno what else to check, cuz i have everything i need to have a running motor and all it does keep turning over and bak firing here and there but never starts. Any help or suggestions would be geat!

Sure sounds like your wires might be on wrong. Do you have a manual or diagram so you can double check the firing order?

This might sound like something stsupid.. but the grounding on the back by the intake manifold, if your car has cruise control, that needs to be grounded, i overlooked this myself on my car and the car wouldn't turn on, it would have good spark and everything and crank but wouldn't turn over... Good luck
