Speaker brackets question

I'm trying to mount some speakers without having to drill news holes in the front doors of my '94. I saw these on ebay and was wondering if they would work on the 3-point mounts that are on my car:

They say that they're for the 2000+ sentra. Much obliged.

6 1/2 speakers will fit without any bracket (they did in mine at least)

I've tried 6 1/2 inch round speakers to no avail. They won't let my windows close.

Really? are they like a 2+ way speaker (non component set) cause I have a 6-1/2 inch component set up front and they perfect.

and there is no real reason why those rings won't fir your car, if they don't its an easy mod to fix (sand the sides of the ring down till they fit)

I'm more worried about hole alignment. Do you know if the holes are the same?

you can always drill an extra hole or two into the rings if need be, it won't really hurt anything, its really soft plastic so it would be very easy.

Nevermind. I milled out a pair of aluminum rings and then drilled those with the proper holes. Thanks for all the ideas though.

did you make sure it wasn't going to rattle? just a thought, cause with alluminum it might vibrate.

OCAKevin, Do you have pics on how you mounted the tweeters? I'm gonna go to components and would love some ideas. My current plan is to put in power windows and build custom fiberglass where the crank handles are now (I'm gonna revinyl the whole car anyway).
