It is welded on.
Why would you want to remove it? That'll just make your exhaust sound like crap. Well maybe not with a stock muffler.
get a hacksaw, chop saw, angle grinder, or a pipe cutter. remove rear section of exhaust cut it out, weld in a new section. Why do you want to remove it?
