b13 signal lights

What would make my signal lights go dead?
They worled befor i cut the car off. Then when i get back in i have no signal lights.

I turn off the car and star back about 5mins later and i have signal lights again????????

When you got back in, did you turn key on first? The turn signal lights don't work with the turn signal switch when the car key is taken out or if it is in the off position. However, the signal light HAZARDS turned on with the hazard button will work without the key as long as the battery is working.

Ok let me refraze that. I drove my car down the road and had signal lights all day.
Then i go home and then get back in my car drive down the road again and turn on my signal again and there is nothing. Neither side worked.
i got where i was going. Turned off the car, about five mins later i drive back home and my signal lights work again??????WTF???
