i own a 1994 nissan sentra SE-R i have a JDM SR20DE in the car now, but its been really acting up on me.... the car seems to jerk and pull whenever i accel however, when i idle at the stoplight, the idle jumps to 2000 - 2500 RPM, but when i hit the brake and hold onto it, it slowly eases back down to regular idle. i am more worried about the jerking and pulling , because it rained today, and i almost got into an accident due to this malfunction....... i would really appreciate it if someone can tell me what the hell this is? and even more thankful if they can show me how to fix it....... with pics and step by step instructions..... thank you for your time........

As hydrolock stated, could be a number of things...
Did you check your timing ?
Last time you did a good tune up and what was done ? Fuel filter ? Might have some fuel flow problems...
Just start with the easiest stuff and knock em off the list till you find it, or till youve tried everything you could think of....then tell us what you checkd out....

Listen to this guy here. This is the diagnostic procedure you need to use unless you really have a hunch. Most people on here are gonna try and make you look for the most hi tech fix possible.
