nissan noob here, but i was wondering if the gas gages on the nx are accurate? they other day i was at 1/4 tank, got out of the car to run an errand, got back in and said that i had no gas left...also, does anyone ever hear a sound coming from the engin bay while driving? it sounds like the air moving around when you compress a strut. not only is this annoying, it makes my car bog when i'm driving. this only happens when i turn on the ac. could it be the valve associated with the ac? thanks

Nissan noob or car noob? Only kidding.
Did you fuel gauge correct itself or is it still showing no fuel?
The fact that it only happens when you turn on the AC, means its the AC. Check all the belts and make sure their tension is good, when your AC works does it still blow cold?

not car noob, but yes, ac works fine most of the time except for the little hiccup. all belts look fine too
did you gas gauge correct itself?
it could just be a broken or loose wire, or a bad cable.
if it didnt correct itself, is your temp gauge still working?
if your temp and gas gauge both dont work, its your voltage regulator.

temp gauge still working, gas gauge working now too. does anyone know which line controls that off the harness? or is there an easier way of checking wiring?
Check the SE-R.net.
There is a FAQ on inaccurate fuel pump floats.
And BTW, A/C does suck out your gas.
I will not post the link, please look it up and learn.
