lots of brake questions

heres my issue: i like the tires i have. sadly, in order to put on big brakes, i'll need to get larger wheels. but the tires i've found for a 15" wheel, atleast according to TireRack.com, they dont perform as well, for the money. so, i need some advice. should i ignore TireRacks surveys, and go for the ultra-lite SSR CompXs i was looking at (9 lbs each, holy sh**!) to fit big rotors, or should i just upgrade my stock size rotors, pads, and lines. can anyone suggest a tire for a 15x6,6.5",7" wheel? i'm looking to outperform BFGoodrich T/H Hs. all-seasons are a must. i like driving in the snow, and i dont want to do any more than mount chains if it gets really hairy.

this is going to see little track time, mostly just trying to outmanuever any idiots who may attempt to ruin my day. and i'd like to keep this on the cheap, which i was thinking of adopting the setup Sport Compact Car has on their own Project Sentra SE-R (my inspiration, these days).

for those dont know, it reads like this
FRont: Fastbrakes 11" rotors, 4-piston Wilwood calipers, Ferodo DS2500 pads, B15 SE-R Master Cylinder
Rear: B15 SE-R Rotors & Calipers, Goodridge braided lines.

anyone have a guess how much this would run me? i thought the Wilwood calipers were pricey?

any help would be great.

save some money and go with the NX2000 front break set up.
- do a search on SE-R.net or Here. just
SEARCH > NX2000 Brake Conversion/Set Up

Yep. The NX2000 front upgrade, altima or NX master cylinder, ss lines, motul fluid, Maxima rear discs if you're feeling adventurous, and some pads from Carbotech and you should be good for "a little track time." Or a hell of a lot of track time, and it will be faaaaaar cheaper than that set-up you described.

I would suppose that the write-up is on this site somewhere? Try a search of "B13+AD22+brakes" or something. If that doesn't work, there is a full comprehensive write-up with pictures on this procedure in the Technical Section of SR20Forum.com.

Good luck.
