Anyways I have a stock automatic 94' sentra XE 4 dr w/ 168,000 miles. The thing runs like a champ (even after i beat the poo out of it daily). But anyways, I was wanted to know if it is really bad to turn off OverDrive when i want to go faster. I mean when i floor it and the car reaches RPMs that make it scream i let off in paranoia that the engine will blow. Can the engine handle this abuse much longer? WIll it give me warnings that my abuse is taking its towl, or will something just instantly break on this engine/ tranny? I'm just curious.

I thought about an engine/manual tranny swap with the jdm SR20DET. What i would like to know is can it be done in the little engine space provided, i mean to be able to fit an intercooler and engine in? I love the handling ability of this little economic car, but im not satisfied with the power (especially after driving a 92' MR-2), and upgrades are few scarce with the 1.6L engine.
So in short, can i swap the 1.6L w/ a 2.0L turbo in a sentra?
P.S. how much hp does the 1.6L make and how much does the car as a whole weigh?

the 1.6 l is rated ~110 horsepower crank stock and supposted to weigh about ~2600
