I was driving the other day and was in a hurry so i was letting the revs get a little high. I entered third gear and was reving it up and got to 6000 rpms and all of a suddne the rpms jumped and i stoped accelertating. this happened 3 times i wanted to make sure it was not a one time thing.

My question is... is it the clutch slipping or backing off somehow or is it something else?


I had the clutch replaced last year and there should be no way it is bad alreay.

any suggetstions would be great.

It would depend on how it was broken in, who made it and who installed it.
Maybe the springs are shot and messed up as well.

Yes the car still drives i am not complaining about that i just want to know what is causing this and what if anything i can do to fix this problem so it doesn't become a problem later.
