So I finally did it.....
I tore out all my carpet and the tar stuff underneath the other day. That tar wasn't hard at all to get off for me, I guess it helps when it's 101 degrees out. Anyway, I tried to weigh everything, but couldn't quite get it to work on my bathroom scale I was using. It got up to about 15lbs, but I know it was waaaay more than that. I would estimate about 40lbs +/-, a pretty decent weight reduction, not to mention the 20lbs I just lost myself, so my car has lost a good bit of weight recently. So my question is, JWolfe, are you still here? What's that stuff you used to glue the pennies down to the little holes in the floor? JG Weld or something? Anyone else know what I'm talking about?
