High Idle

I know this aint going to be in any search so here it goes.

Back a few weeks ago I was havin trouble with my ga havin a sluggish launch and cuttin off when I would let it warm up. Well I went under the knife to try and find the problem. I put everything back together...and now this thing idles really high. I would guess at about 1200-1500 rpm. What did I mess up?

vacume? Get some carb cleaner and spray around the hoses.

1500 is low... my car when its having a bad day idles at 2000+... i need to check my throttle cable.. i think its sticking

Normal idle speeds for the GA are:

1500-2000 RPM when cold
600-1000 RPM when warmed.

There is an idle speed control that you can fiddle with if your brave. Im at work right now though so I dont have pics of its location.

I poured Sea Foam right into the tb and all I got was lots of smoke and still a high idle. Now that I read that 1500 is low on warmup...it might be runnin at about 2000 or something in that area. But its really high even when I run it down the road a peice. I might fiddle with it again and check all hoses and everything. Now I did break a hose nipple thing on the air cleaner that runs to the fire wall and over towards the master cylinder. I fixed it with a lil bit of RTV and tape.

So does anybody know what could be causin this? is it the Idle air thing thats up under that screen? I dunno if I said it but I did clean it with some starting fluid. I did have to take some other things apart to get to it.
