Hi Guys
I am currently racing my 1987 Pulasar NX and blew the 1.6 DOHC up. I need an upgrade for an engine swap. Not sure what to look for. Help, need to go faster.

You blew up the E16....
you need to upgrade to a CA18DE(T). Look on ebay for that. You will also need a wiring harness.

I have been told I can just switch the long blocks, re-using all manifolds, injectors, and electronics, is that true?

Sorry I should have been more clear. How did the engine break? Timing Chain snap? Blow a rod? Crankshaft exit through the side of the block? etc
