what do you want out of your car ? are you looking for strictly performance and handling, or are you just going for a lower stance and looks ? if you are just looking to lower it mainly for looks, you would probably be fine just to get the springs as the coilovers are adjustable and would be better from a performance standpoint. Also, what are you going to do for struts ? it is not advisable to use lowering springs or coilovers with stock struts. Esp. if they are old. using a higher rated spring will most certainly finish them off.
