Engine problems Please help.

Car- 89 sentra auto, throttle body injected
At a certin RPM(not sure, no tach, very low though) the fuel cuts then comes back on over and over until you let off the gas. The only thing I can think of it a bad injector or fuel pressure regulator. Has anyone had a simular problem. This is the wife's car and she's been on my back for awhile so I could really use the help.

Make sure all the vacuum hoses are ok. If one is broken the engine will do wierd things like that.

I forgot to mention, I checked all the vacum hoses. Thanks for the respones.

Can you tell for sure if the fuel is cutting off or does the car just jerk? My car used to do it all the time when I let off of the gas, but now it just does it occasionally mostly while on the highway.

Run a bottle (or 2!) or fuel injector cleaner through.

IF any of you havent heard SHELL gasolines had an additive in them that caused sticky stuff to build up inside your fuel system. If you have been using SHELL gasolines for the past year you could have problems.

The easiest remedy is to run fuel system cleaner through ( its $50 Canadian a shot though!) or get your fuel system flushed.
