I had a similar leak until last night. A friend of mine and I replaced the front seal and used a "repair sleeve" (<---not sure of the technical name) on the crank pulley/balancer because it had grooves worn into it. Stopped the leak altogether. I had oil everywhere on the underside of the engine around the oilpan and everything. It was from the balancer slinging the oil everywhere over time.
