Hey guys, I am new to the board and just bought an 89 Sentra for a winter driver, and eventually it will get an SR20 swap and SDS stand alone. Right now I need to get it running right though. It has 2 problems - after it warms up it bogs out in the mid range RPMs. If I tap the gas quickly it will come out of the bogging action, but does it again right away. The other problem it has is it sometimes dies at lights and other fantastic places, then takes awhile to get started again. I checked for vacuuem leaks, made sure all the connections were solid and no wires were frayed or cut, and replaced the battery (it was bad and wouldnt hold a charge). I also pulled out the ECU from under the passenger seat and it is throwing several codes, a 10, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. I tried resetting the ECU, and it did nothing. So, my questions -does anybody know where I can go to get a list of codes, or could somebody post them up? And if anybody knows whats up, or has had problems like these let me know. Thanks guys, this noobieto the nissan scene thanks you!
From what it seems to me, the Airflow Meter (AFM) decided to croak possibky, also, the reason it may be stalling is because the idle is set incorrectly at either the throttle body or the ECM. Purchase a Haynes Repair Manual at your local AutoZone or the like, It will cover the B11-B13 Chassis and have a listing for all of the trouble codes.

not sure if they are the same but these are out of my service manual for my 90-:
11- crank angle sensor circuit
12-air flowmeter circuit
13-water temp sensor circuit
14-vehicle speed sensor circuit
21-ignition singnal missing in primary coil circuit
23-idle switch circuit
25-A.A.C valve circuit
31-E.C.C (E.C.C.S control unit)
32-E.G.R. function -* (california only)
33- exhaust gas sensor circuit
35-exhaust gas temp sensor circuit * (california only)
43-throttle sensor circuit
45-injector leak - * (california only)
55- no malfunctioning in the above circuit
according to the service manual if your car has a engine stall- while decelerating/just after stopping you should check the following: ignition spark, ignition signal ( missing), crank angle sensor, idle switch (remaining off), load switches ( remaining off),idle speed control valve ( remaining off),exhaust gas sensor (malfunctioning feedback control), mixture ratio, idle speed (too low), not necessarily in this order.
for poor driveability - (stumble while accelerating check) :-mixture ratio, fuel pressure, fuel filter ( clogged), fuel line (clogged),injector (clogged), power transisitor, ignition coil, ignition wires(leaks), spark plugs (improper gap), air duct (leaks), crank angle sensor, air flow meter, water temp sensor, exhaust gas sensor, idle switch, fuel (poor quality)
