i have a b12 with GA16 12valve engine. my bother has a b13 with GA16DE engine. i was wondering where i can get service manuals for these models.
we've been servicing these on our own garage. a service manual will greatly help.
EBay or classifieds are both good sources. You could even try a dealer. The older manuals are much less expensive than for the newer cars. I picked up a new 91 Sentra manual 5-6 years back for about $70. I'd check for a used one first.
I'm sure some other people will have additional suggestions.
Hello, The Chiltons and Haynes are pretty common on Ebay and can be had for next to nothing. I think I paid $3.50 for one that was brand new. The factory service manuals appear on there too, although not as frequently. I think at your local autoparts you can expect to pay about $15 for the Haynes or Chiltons.
Another good cheap piece of reference to have is one of these parts lists for our cars that you always see on Ebay. They are only like $3-$4 usually. I bought one and it has parts diagrams for most of the cars body, interior, suspension and motor parts all by factory part #'s. I believe they were used for body shop estimators ?

Somebody on here suggested paying the $20 for a one day subscription to the Nissan Web site. You can then download the manuals you need.
Good luck....
I have a '89 service manual that I'll let go of for $15 + whatever shipping is, if anyone's interested just PM me. The '89 and '90 are identical as far as I know. I have Paypal too.
The Nissan web site only goes back to 1994 models. Courtesy Nissan sells a CD-ROM version of the 1991 Sentra manual for $70. If I can find 5 or more people willing to pay about 10 bucks, I'll buy it and split the cost. I already posted about this once, but there wasn't much interest. Let me know on this thread if anybody wants to do it.
