removing rotors 87 Sentra SE

Is removing the rotors off this car as easy as simply removing the cotter pin, caliper and caliper mounting bracket or will I have to do some more involved stuff like removing the spindle nut, outer bearing, etc?? If it is more involved, what size is the spindle nut and how do I press the outer bearing out?

No, piece of cake. Your rotor is held onto the hub by the lug nuts/wheel. There are 2 bolts (17mm?) holding the calipers to the knuckle. Maybe it was on another car.... but you may only have to pull one of the caliper bolts and the whole thing pivots on the other bolt and you just lift it up. If your rotor is stuck to the hub, WD the crap out of it and let'er sit over night. Give it a couple sh-bangs and it should fall off. Extreme case get a puller.

Gotcha, I'll just remove the bottom calper bolt and loosen the upper and let it pivot on the upper calper bolt, remove the pads, etc, and pop it off.... Cool, thanks.

i jsut upgraded to ad18vb brakes and it only took me a good 40 mins to install and bleed. the brakes on these cars are extremely simple and probably the easiest ones ive ever worked on.

Did you just upgrade the calipers/rotors or did you do the booster too? How do you like the diff? Way less fade eh? During an evasive manuver last week, I counted my lucky stars for the new brakes and struts. No way could my old stuff pull out of the "slam the brakes and turn" situation.
