Code question

I ran my codes today and came up with codes 23 and 45 anyone know what htewse codes are for my code book dose not go back that far. The car is a 87 sentra with the E16i thanks for any help.

I have a list of trouble codes for the different years, those codes do not show for an 87 E16, but they do for an 88 . the code 23 says Idle Switch and the code 45 says Injector Leak.

Ok new question is it possable for an 88 computer to have been put in to the car cause I ran the codes due to iratic run conditions and I have had some sort of problem since I have owned the car? is there a difference enough (between 87&88) to account for the run problems?

there shouldn't be very much difference between computers if any as long as it's for the E16i, maybe the current computer was for a car with different(more/less) emissions equipment?

No diff. I'm running the stock 16i ECU in a 87 and a 16i out of an 88.

maybe his car was produced late 87 and the ECU is actually an 88 revision ? maybe just the problem codes were different on the ECU between years and everything else that actually runs the car is pretty much the same ?

Acctually the build date is 8/86 so it should have a 87 ecu the problem is that I am experiencing very iratic run like won't accelerate hard past 4000 rpm but if I let up a little it will rev to red line also with the idle air control pluged in the engine runs at 2500 rpm for an idle.
