I got a couple questions.
1. Did some sentras come w/automatic belts? My seats have auto belt things on em but the car doesn't have em.
2. Were the dashes ever covered in fabric? I have some weird bluish/greyish fabric on mine.
3. Are there any stories of people being murdered in a sentra? See above questions combined w/the fact that the carpet is lose and doesn't fit, the rear deck has no covering on it, and there are reddish/brownish spots on the ceiling. hmmmmm.... I'm pretty sure the interior is out of a different car. What do ya'll think? Murder or something else?

edit- Also what engine do I have? I don't know the model on the car(hell there's no badging on the car,except the grill) but it's a 2dr, 4spd w/no options, no tach,no anything. It's got some thing on the intake side that looks like a carb w/a fuel injector in it.

You've got the base model sentra with a ga16i throttle-body fuel injection engine.

The seat belts in 1990 were somewhat automatic - you could get in and out by only unbuckling the lap belt, while the shoulder belt stayed attached to the door. However, there was a problem with fraying, and Nissan had a recall on this style belt. Perhaps they replaced the seatbelts in your car and left some of the hardware.

I haven't heard of anyone getting killed in a sentra, but mine had some bad mildew in the carpet because the car leaked through all the windows, and the trunk as well. Perhaps they replaced your carpet. Also I believe the factory dash is just plastic, which can crack if left in the sun for 14 years. I've seen several cars with what looked like aftermarket carpet on the dash.

Your car sounds... scary??? I thought all the 90 sentras had the belts attached to the doors, maybe the doors have been swapped? or just seats? I don't know, that's kinda wierd.

There should be a badge under the hood on the firewall passengers side. You probly have a ga16x.
