Hello! I have a Nissan Sentra 1989 B12 2Doors GA16..(Motor) without modifications (original).
I need to know:
1. How much liters of fuel are consumed in one mile of route?
2. Which is the standard size of the fuel tank (in liters)?
3. How many miles I can cross with the fuel reserve?
hi and welcome to the boards... i can answer questions one and three for you.. for the 2nd one you just have to search.. im pretty sure its been covered somewhere in here before.
#1 My car ( 92 B12 with a different motor ) has been getting roughly 7.955 L/100Km or 30 MPG in the city... i checked it out when I was on the highway and i did 40 MPG this weekend. not too shabby I thought.
#3 In the city I can usually get between 300 and 400 km on half a tank of ga s.... on the highway it would probably be a heck of a lot more ( 220KM on the highway and im not even below 3/4 ) But in the city I usually dont put over 500KM on a tank because i dont like letting it go past 1/4.... on the highway I could probably easily do 600-700km on a tank. But i'd have to take a road trip to the u.s to check it out to make sure... but since im working a lot its not going to happen...
the tank capacity is supposed to be about 13-1/4 gallons or 50 liters, I can never get that much in there though, the most I ever got in a little over 11 gallons, and that's with the car sputtering up to the station.

That may be all that you can get in there but the FSM still says it's 13.25, I guess maybe the fuel pickup is a little too high in the tank to pick up the extra couple gallons.
