I was browsing the other Nissan forums on here, the ones that cover the SLR's,Vspecs(whatever ya call em) and there are a few threads that start out "I smoked a mustang today" or something like that(they get closed down pretty fast though, no street racing talk )...Strange that ya never see those threads on here like "my 86 pulsar smoked a viper" or something like that(well maybe not that extreme)...I have my theorys about why, the most plausible one is that our engines would probably fall out..

lmao. what the other guys aren't telling you is what mustangs they are beating. I could beat mustangs in my stanza wagon all the time. but most of them here are old v6 and even 4cyl mustangs that have poop for power.

Its true that it is difficult to make power with our GA or E series motors, so if your looking to build a drag car to smoke Vipers, a B12 probably isnt the way to go.
On the other hand though, my 89 Sentra beat a brand new Mustang in a tight road course. The Sentra has such a tight turning radius and wearing sticky rubber can corner like bigger heavier vehicles could only dream of.
Id probably sell them for like $250 Canadian rims and tires. On my B12 though, I had some issues with the rear tires rubbing the rear fender under cornering loads and with a load in the trunk. I minimized this by bending the ridge ont he rear fenders up, but I think a suspension stiffer than my beat up OEM suspension would be required to prevent the rubbing. The tires are also getting worn and probably only have a few thousand kilometers before they need replacement.
