I have no idea where i should really post this question so i'll post it here and if no one helps it can be moved.
I was looking at a blow up of the front brakes on my pulsar, well aparently its the same setup on pulsar, sentra, and stanza. My question is, is the hole in the knuckle for the drive shaft the same size on both sentra/pulsar and stanza?
I was looking at upgrading my brakes to the AD22VF ( iknow thats bigger than i need but i can dream) and i noticed that if i can just swap out the hub when i swap my CA20E in that i can just use my front brakes from my stanza wagon which should be well adequate for my pulsar for the time being. The only problem i can think of at the moment is the shaft size in the knuckle and the caliper bolting to the knuckle.

well, i went to take apart my stanza's hub but couldn't get the nut off and i dont have an impact so ya. but it looks like the drive shaft might be same size but dunno. if anyone can spare a word....i'm more curious than anything. I like to know interchangability and if i can upgrade with parts I already have that would be cool too.

I don't know to much on the stanza but if the splines on the hub is the same as the sentra/pulsar, you can get away with swapping them. If the distance of where the caliper bolts to the spindle is different then you can't/won't be able to interchange the brakes. - I Hope this helps.

Well, if the spindle is the same setup as you say like the pulsar, I wouldn't see why not it wouldn't work. But why swap spindles if you could just bolt up the stanza's brake to the pulsar hub??

different bolt pattern. and i wouldn't swap spindles, just that hub if it fit in the knuckle. if i had an impact i would see if the hub from the stanza wagon 4wd would fit...i have a feeling it doesn't but again i'm curious. if it did then hey thers a cheap upgrade and allows you to run different bolt pattern.

i'm thinking of doing the nx2000 brake upgrade, and the 5 lug pattern and easily changable brake rotors is worth the trouble.
lug adaptors would change the pattern also.
I don't know if the stanza wagon rotors are the floating type or not.
nx2000 doesn't have 5 lugs....does it? and what do you mean by floating rotors??? it has a floating caliper if thats what you mean but almost all front disc brakes are floating.

The rotors should be 4 lug. Because when guys with the b13's do there big brake sway all they use is the abs made rotor and calipers from the nx.

Gsolo: I was thinking the same about pressing out the hub and using either a max or 240sx hub on the stock spindle to either make it 5 lug or change the lug pattern to 4x114 but have had a chance to look if they are compatible.
