i have an 89 sentra and im not familiar with th body specs for and how much they differ from the 91 model , reason being, i was trying to get a drift kit for it and the type that i like is for the 91 and up model sentra , mine is an 89 2 dr. coupe help im stranded in the desert with this one

Hello and welcome to the site! Unfortunately, you dropped this in the wrong section, so it's not likely to get the answer you want from many people. Check out the "Sentra, NX, G20, 200SX" section below, namely the B12 section, which is what your car is.
To answer your question, the differences between the '89 (B12 chassis) and '91 (B13 chassis) are pretty major - there's not much that's the same between the two. The Drift kit, made for the B13, probably won't fit your car without some extensive modifications to the kit and possibly your car, and even then it might not look right.

I have seen B13 kits on B12 Sentras. It can be done. Keep in mind though that the B13 has a more rounded front whereas the B12 has a more body front with very little rounding. The kit may look kinda wierd on a B12.
